The ingredients
Vanilla,
the scent that guides us.

Vanilla links the pods used in cooking with Candeur Malagasy’s scented creations. Discover the ingredients Brenda chooses for body care and her future scent combinations.
01
A place for every ingredient.
Jojoba in the oil, shea in the cream, vanilla in the scent.

Bourbon vanilla.
Intense, warm and woody, vanilla scents the massage oil, shower gel, shampoo and body cream.
Jojoba.
Jojoba carries the vanilla in the massage oil. Warm a few drops between your hands, then take your time.
Coconut oil.
Coconut oil is an ingredient in the vanilla shower gel. It also accompanies Brenda’s early trials and work on textures.
Shea butter.
Shea butter, plant oils and vanilla extract make up the body cream: a creamy texture to apply in a thin layer, with an intense scent.
The cleansing bases.
A plant-derived cleansing base for the shower gel; a gentle cleansing base and light conditioning agents for the shampoo. Bourbon vanilla links the two formulas.

In the workshop: scents to come.
Candles are coming soon to Candeur Malagasy. Follow the ylang-ylang and vanilla project in the journal too.

Local beeswax
At the start of Brenda’s candles: beeswax, flame and scent. Find these trials in the journal.
Ylang-ylang and vanilla
Floral, slightly fruity notes and the warmth of vanilla: Brenda is exploring this combination, with soap as a first possibility.
Spiced combinations
Warm, spicy clove and cinnamon inspire the workshop and are also found among the cooking spices.
